Delaware’s ENERGY STAR New Homes Program

The Delaware ENERGY STAR New Homes Program is a partnership with ENERGY STAR Builders that build in the state of Delaware. ENERGY STAR Qualified New Homes are built to exceed our state’s energy code (International Energy Conservation Code, IECC 2000) by 15 percent. Delaware Home Performance Program

The DE Home Performance Program Program LINK: is a one-stop shop for all comfort, energy, and indoor air quality improvements in homes. The program offers rebates for making home improvements and the quality of work on every Home Performance job is reviewed by the Program.

The Delaware Home Performance program is sponsored by the Delaware Energy Office, which trains and certifies contractors to perform energy audits and install whole-house energy improvements.  Participants should hire a contractor from the approved list.
